Assalam U Aalaikum

It has been nagging me for quiet some time that whether it is beneficial to enroll oneself in a good madrassa for learning Arabic / Hadith / Fiqh / Quran / Tafseer / Usul etc. etc.

or

One can have private lessons...

After some considerable contemplation i find the Madrassa to be more beneficial provided that there is a good madrassa nearby....

In pakistan there are good madrassas and good teachers.... getting enrolled in them is easy...maybe private lessons could be for those who dont have full time to allocate to studies, or dont have access to a good madrassa...or have to develop some expertise...for example being a student of a expert shaykh who knows hadith etc...

However the institution of madrassa also teaches us many things apart from studies which might be difficult to learn otherwise....but i cant see myself materliazing them into words....

ANY COMMENT! THOUGHT ! OPINION is highly welcome...
