While in Ihram, can a Hanafi wear a *****pack (what do they call it in the UK, then)? [like this: clipped by mod]
Err... minus the weapon, of course, but that's what it looks like. This would serve as a backpack/dua & guide book & Quran holder/belt for Ihram garment.
Also, can the sandals have stiches in them? [like this: sandal (http://www.rogansshoes.com/MaelstromCart/Images/Site32/Details/Details_reeboksandtrooperII.jpg) ]

While in Ihram, can a Hanafi wear a fannypack? [like this: fannypack (http://www.scottsdalegunclub.com/faq/images/holster_fannypack.jpg) ]

Yep the ulama say that you can wear one of those 'packs' around your waist, torso or wherever else it's comfortable, as it's rather like a belt separate from the actual ihram. Make sure it's made from halal materials though (i presume you can get them in pig leather).
I don't know about those sandals though - I'll wait for the scholars to answer that.
NB. in the UK, the word "f&nny" is a very offensive word. Although my bro tells me that in the US, the term "fannypack" is not offensive at all. Strange.
(i know you are not trying to offend though)
