Masha Allah that books looks really well done. That website mentioned on there is run by our very own Sheikh Othman Abu Zayd of SF. I think his father compiled it. Not sure though...

Asalam Alaikum,

I went through the content of the hajj booklet yesterday, mashallah, very easy and to the point, I liked the tables showing what is fard and what is waajib, for other potential haajis I really recommend it. I have various booklets and books about hajj and umrah, but this is to the point and user friendly!!!! Once again, brother Ziad, Jazakhum Khair for the post.

Wasalam

Assalamu Alaikum, JazaakAllahu Khair to Br. Saleel for having the Hajj Companion converted into a pdf file, and also to Br. Sadiq for converting. Our reason for not putting it in the pdf file was because it has problems with the Arabic script, but Alhamdulillah it looks fine. The only tiny thing is on the top page the word Tammattu, written in Arabic goes from left to right as in English, a very minor thing, but just thought to point it out, since you put so much effort. Wassalamu Alaikum

Rafiq Ul Haramain written by Amir e Ahle Sunnat Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadiri (Damat Barakatuhum Aaliya)

http://www.freewebs.com/dawat-e-islami/rafiqulharamain.htm

All praise is due to Almighty Allah, Durood and Salaam upon his beloved Prophet (salal laahu alaihi wa sallam). This Ashique of Madinah Shareef started to write this book while in Makkah Mukarramah. My intention was to present a guide to those who are intending to perform their Hajj and Umrah. As a means of attaining divine blessing, I also wrote a few pages while in Madinah shareef and I completed this book while in Karachi, and decided to keep the name of the book “Rafeequl Haramain”.

I have tried to keep the book as simple as possible and make dua that wherever I am, this book will still be found in the blessed cities. I make dua that this book finds itself in Mecca and Medina shareef so that it can feel the blessed environment and air of these cities.

Assalamu alaikum,

Dear all,

Hajji's travelling from the UK

The CBH has lanched a national campaign to raise awareness for travel vaccine for the coming Hajj season. In addition to Meningitis you now need a seasonal flu jab and certificates which needs to be administered at least 2 weeks before travel.

For more info please visit the Saudi embassy website at:
http://www.mofa.gov.sa/Detail.asp?InNewsItemID=97610

Also visit our website at http://www.the-cbh.org.uk to be kept up to date on developments and for practical health and safety tips and advice.

Please kindly forward the attached poster onto your contacts.

Jazakallahu Khairan
