Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

I am guessing that quite a few people have asked these question here before, but since i dont got the time now to view the forum i ask it again. Please excuse me, if you feel that im flooding the board.

Do the Islamic schools in pakistan and south africa only teach the hanafi madhab, or do they got qualified teacher for other madahib as well?

Is there any school which provides a married couple with housing, or stipends, or whatever kind of help?

As I have understood, these respectable schools are on the way of the deoband and jamaah al tabligh. Is adhearing to this methodology a condition for attending these schools, and if it is not, is the atmosphere in the school and country relaxed enough to accept a person who doesnt spread or talk about his believes nor wants to receive them from others and just wants to study fiqh and some other things with the good brothers?

I do not know of any madaris in Pakistan that teach any mazhab other than the Hanafi. Nowadays madaris have been banned from taking in foreign students and foreign students already studying in Pakistan are being expelled by the government. Before this many students who had studied aqeedah and fiqh in their own lands used to take only the final year (Hadith studies) in Pakistani madaris without any problem.

Although most madaris in pakistan and south africa are hanafi (mostly deobandi and/or tableeghi), in south africa there is a reliable shafi institute "Dar Al-Ulum Al-Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyyah" of sheikh tahaa karan. it teaches shafi madhab and is recommended by mufti ebrahim desai.
