What is the ruling on images? What is the different ruling between the Hanafi, Hanbali, Shafi, Maliki?

Dear Beloved Brother.
The ruling according to the mashhur of the Maliki school is that 2d images of animate life are mubah, and they are makruh if put on a wall. (al-Qawanin al-Fiqhiyyah, al-Risalah al-Qayrawani)
The ruling according to the Shaf`i, Hanafi and Hanbali schools declares hand drawn 2d images of animate life as unlawful with the exception of photography of which there is a difference of opinion in all of the above madhahib. Many `Ullema allow photography and many `Ullema do not. It just depends.
As for "computer images" on the computer screen of animate life they are generally considered lawful while a group of some `Ullema believed them to be unlawful.
Imam Nawawi has a long discussion on 2d images in the "Reliance of the Traveler" written by Shaykh Nuh Keller.
In general the Maliki school is definetly the most lienient on the matter.
As for non-madhab scholars Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi has also said that 2d images of animate life are not unlawful.
And with Allah is success,
All the opinions above are valid.

Do you know what the Deobandi scholars have said about it? So some Ulema in each madhab allow and forbid photography?

Salamu 'Alaykum
There is some ikhtilaf between the Deobandi 'Ulema.
Hand drawn pictures are impermissible.
As for photography, the opinion of some, such as Mufti Taqi Uthmani states that digital pictures from cameras, videos, online e.t.c do not necessarily fall into "picture making". Thus, if the content is halal the picture will not be impermissible.
