What happened with Ali(ra) and the gate of Khaibar? Is it true that 10 people afterwards couldnt pick it up?

This is a Shia exaggeration. This event never took place.
The Shia also believe that Hadrat Ali's sword could split open the earth's core if it hadnt been for the angels who held back his arm ......and the angels couldnt even contain his strength, lol.
Ridicolous exaggerations , as is typical of the Rawaafidh.

Khaybar wasn't one fortress, it was composed of eleven fortresses. The last fortress was captured under the leadership of Sayyidina `Ali Radi Allahu `anhu.
Sayyidina `Ali had been unable to participate in the fighing earlier due to an ailment in his eyes which was miraculously cured when Rasoolullah Sallallahu `alyhi wa Sallam applied his saliva on it. This is one of the many miracles Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has granted to his Messenger.
There are narrations which say that on that day Sayyidina `Ali Radi Allahu `anhu lifted a gate of the fortress and used it as a shield which was so heavy that forty men had a go at it afterwards and were unable to lift it. It ought to be understood that such an incident is not impossible, such an incident, if it happened, was from the karamat which Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala causes to occur at the hands of His Awliya. However the narrations which mention this are untenable, weak narrations.
From al-Bidayah wa'n-Nihayah (http://www.al-eman.com/Islamlib/viewchp.asp?BID=251&CID=60#s1): (weak translation)
And Yunus reported from Ibn Ishaq, narrated to us `Abdullah bin al-Hasan from some of his family members from Abu Rafi' (Radi Allahu `anhu) the freedman of Rasoolullah Sallallahu `alyhi wa Sallam, he said:
"We marched out towards Khybar with `Ali, Rasoolullah Sallallahu `alyhi wa Sallam had sent him with his banner. When the fortress came close, it's people came out and we fought with them, a man from amongst the Jews attacked him and knocked out his shield from his hand, so he pulled at the gate of the fortress and shielded himself with it and it did not fall from his hand while he was fighting till Allah granted him victory over the fortress, only then did he throw it from his hand, verily I could be seen in a group, with me were seven, I was the eighth of them, we strove to move that gate but were unable to move it."
And in this narration ignorance (of the name of the narrator) and discontinuity (inqita') is apparent
However the Hafiz al-Bayhiqi and al-Hakim have narrated from the route of Muttalib bin Ziyad from Layth bin Abi Saleem from Abi Ja'far al-Baqir from Jabir (Radi Allahu `anhu), "Verily `Ali carried the gate the day of Khybar till the Muslims climbed onto it and captured it and they experimented with it afterwards and forty men were not able to lift it"
And in it is weakness also
And in a weak narration from Jabir, " Then seven men gathered over it and strove to carry back the gate"
