touching bookcovers with arabic caligraphy with the name of Allah and such

:salam: can you touch it without wudu or do you need wudu for this. alot of english works have this, its a hassle to avoid touching it while reading, but will do so if its nessecary insha'Allah.

also, i often have slippers wrapped in a plastic bag with me in my schoolbag, could i carry islamic literature in the same schoolbag? they are normally seperated by a few normal books in between.

Yes, it is allowed to touch it without wudu but if there is a verse of Holy Quran then it is not allowed to touch that verse without wudu.
There must by Quranic verses and Ahadith in the Islamic literature, so you should not keep slippers in that bag.
