Assalamualiakum brother, let me let you answer your own question.
In hanafi fiqh, the rationalle behind cancellation of wudu is loss of control over the body, or impure matter exiting the body. deep sleep is counted as a canceller of wudu because in that state a person does not have control over his limbs, in the same way insanity is seen as a canceller of wudu because the insane person does not have control over his mind and body. He is not aware of any urine or any other substance exiting from his body, even if he is aware he still does not have the mental ability to stop himself.
Apply the explanation on your self and you have your answer. The fact that you have a genuine concern and you are doing something about it by posing this question in the forum, according to me seems like that you do not come under the definition of insane (majnun) in the islamic technical sense of the word.
wassalam
