I have a cousin who was raised in States and has little idea abt religion. The book worm he is, I was hoping if you can recommend some good books to bring him to the right track. He has read teh Quran in English. I don't think that suffice as reading Quran. I may be wrong. I want to get him more interested in Islam. Any ideas?

The AmalPress website has a few lists, the following is the one they recommend for new muslims:

I'd select carefully frm the list, some of the books are quite esoteric and probably not easily digested by everyone. The books in the non-reviewed section I wouldn't really describe as being for new-muslims, well not all of them. Some are very philosophical.

Does anyone know of any good Islamic books in Spanish. There a Catholic woman who is very close to becoming Muslim inshallah, and she's looking for good and detailed introductory Islamic books in Spanish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Harun Yahya books. They are translated into many languages. Spanish too.
