A very brief account ...

Maulana Manzoor Nu'mani is a very well known Hadith Scholar in the Indian Sub-Continent. He had been particularly active in the field of explaining the teachings and approach of the established religious schools to the general public, and particularly to the secular-educated public. His books are very widely read.

He was a very active teacher and lecturer and has written many books, booklet and magazine articles. Some of his best known works are Ma'aariful Hadith (a very lucid and comprehensive 4-Volume introduction to the Hadith for the general reader) Islam kiyaa hai? and Khomeini and the Iranian revolution (a well researched exposition of the origin and the open and hidden doctrines of the Ithna 'Asharia Shi'as.

He also established the journal Al-Furqan, now under the editorship of his son Maulana Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Nu'mani.

Molana Manzoor Nomani R.T.A was islamic adovokate and he work against The Shirk O Biddat with very well.He won many MUNAZRAY with Ahl Biddat.He is GOOD Writer

bro, do you live in india, and are you the son of SHaykh Sajjad Nomani db ie Late Moulana Manzur Nomani (rah) son, who runs a khankha near mumbai and is a khalifa of Shaykh Zulfiqhar Naqshbandi db... SubhanAllah, what a speaker, personally been to his talks in bangalore...

also whose the grand daughter who lives in birmingham england, met one person by name brother farooq who runs the islamic libarary in habmoor rd birmingham and says his wife is the grand daughter of the late moulana saheb! but i think the way how the library goes and the brothers who come there, it looks like a pro Ahl e hadith.. please clarify, i could be wrong...
