Whispers of Love, 2 October 2004, Wembley Grand Hall, London
The Whispers of Love is an event of whirling dervishes and Sufi music organised by the Dialogue Society. The event is dedicated to Mawlana Jalaleddin Rumi and his way of love, universal truth and peace. The Whispers of Love will feature an exhibition on Rumi and the Anatolian Sufi tradition; a magical performance by the world-renowned Turkish whirling dervishes; a banquet of live Sufi music; a speech on Rumi and his relevance for today and a common praying ceremony by the prominent members of the diverse faith groups in the Great Britain for the peace of London.

-Maybe its permissible for the shafi'ees. If anyones heard or knows of a fatwa permitting this sort of event amongst the hanafis, please let me know ;)
