Just wishing to get some idea of abi nour in syria from any who have been there. Which subjects are taught, the enivorment etc

I'm looking at going this summer, :insh:, but haven't yet made up my mind about where and how to study. I've heard mixed reports on Abi Nour - I've asked them for more information about their courses but they don't appear to be very forthcoming, however this might be because I'm asking in English!

Was that in a recent lecture, beacuse in the past the syria goverment did expell all foreigners at non- govermental schools. But that doesn't pertain to jami'a abu nour. At least that what I was told. Allahu alim

Their summer Arabic course starts on July 2nd, inshallah.

I haven't heard of anyone being expelled from there, rather I know of brothers who have studied there within the last 2-4 years and had good experiences. I'm not sure they would recommend studying fiqh or 'aqidah there though.
