Assalamu alaykum,
is their any restrictions on the TYPE of material that can be prayed on?
Ok obviously we can pray on cloth/wool as most prayer mats are made from this.
Obviously we can pray on dry earth sand type.
Can we pray on concrete/gravel? (obviously it is gonna be very painful at sajda time)
What about grass?
What about loose damp soil like the type dug up in the garden for gardening.
What about plastic floors's
What about wooden floors/laminate floors?
what about that material that black bin bags are made from (so could we pray on new clean balck bin bags?)
any materials it's not permissbale to pray on?
was salaam
