WARNING: On the very first page [after the title and contents], straight after the heading "Translator's Note" it is written:
This is the English language version of the irradiating and inspiring Dalael us-Suluk by the late Hadhrat Maulana Allah Yar Khan, the greatest Sufi Master of the Muslim Ummah after the Companions.
Come on, brother, what is this nonsense! What about the great zuhhad and 'arifin of the Tabi'in and the Tabi-ut-Tabi'in??? What about the great awliya' that came after them such as 'Abdul-Qadir al-Jaylani and al-Junayd al-Baghdadi? What has been left for them in the above comment that this Allah Yar Khan is the "greatest Sufi Master of the Muslim Ummah after the Companions"?

:salam:
I was thinking the same thing, and I just skimmed the book so far, and it seems very valuable for a proper meaning of Tasawwuf.

Yes, the general content of the book seems OK, however I am still wary even if it were only the translator's words. Because if the final copy of the book came out like this, then I wonder, does the author confirm the translator's statement by not having it removed or edited?

There are major problems with this group of sincere but 'eccentric' sufis.
Please, be cautious.

Can you please outline them?
If you are seriously looking in to this silsila to join them, then this should be discussed in private email. Otherwise, it is of no use(i.e. la ya'ni) to make other Muslims sad and angry.
I apologize for the rude answer :$ .

the first translation was done 11 years after the beloved author had passed away. It is always good to keep a good opinion.
as to the naqshbandiah owaisiah. Its concept of tasawwuf, its principles and practices are all highlighted in the book and there is no further need to ask. If a devotee of the order says anything, it should be checked in the light of this book.
And also, if a person further requires information, he can book a flight to chakwal. The yearly ijtemah will start from the july the 7th till august the 13th. Inshallah, towards the end you will find something that has been unheard of in the history of tasawwuf i.e. 20 to 200 common people from different walks of life, being made to bait individually with the Holy Prophet(Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) under the loving guidance of the shaikh, and than each person's name being written down with his father's name in the register held by Hazrat Ali(Allah be well pleased with him.) And each person will himself bear witness fact to the bait.
Alhamdolillah I have made a claim knowing that I am not better than any one of you. It may be the truth or lies. Be it lies, is it not worth pursuing? And if it is lies, what is my condition now? I have lied on the silsilah, its honourable shaikh and former two pale into comparision of the fact that I have lied on the Prophet(Allah's blessing and peace be upon him) and his sahabah.
But if for one moment, this is taken to be the truth, who is at the loss?
And if it is the truth, this mere fact is enough to answer all accusations. But ofcourse, this requires work on the accuser's side. If again true, than this would be tasawwuf in its pristine form.
I have nothing more to say and nothing to gain or lose. Allah guide me and you.
alhamdolillah.....waassalaamalaikum.

Believing in or accepting the validity of this particular tariqah that you have mentioned is not a required part of a person's iman or islam. So if one disagrees with it, how can you say that he will be "in loss"? It sounds like typical scare-tactics, similar to those used by cults in the west. Proof that a particular way or tariqah is on the haqq should be based on solid proofs, not on conjectural scaremongering.

I fail to understand how this is somehow a "proof" for the validity of your claim. If this is indeed "unheard of in the history of tawassuf", then this is even more reason for people to beware of it, as your statement actually implies that whatever is going on there is in fact a bid'ah.
And what is this "register held by Hazrat Ali"? And making bay'ah directly to the Prophet [sallallahu 'alayhi wa-sallam]? Mere claims of such things are not proof of their reality.
