Assalamulaikum Brother
I will apologise in advance for the little help I am about to give as it is bound to be useless. But, my advice and I know you will have heard the words so many times before that they may no longer have an effect but contemplate on them:
Be Patient
Sometimes we may be blinded by so many obstacles in our path that we can no longer see where we are headed. Remember brother, our aim is to seek the pleasure of Allah and attain Jannat-il-Firdous. Read descriptions so that it is as if it is right in front of you. This will make things easier for you, insha'allah.
This life is all a test and Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear. Remember this Ayat, one can draw great strength from it, for it shows that all of Mankind when faced with a burden has two choices, one to crumble beneath them and the second is to stand firm in the knowledge that not only is this a test from Allah but you as a Muslim can bear it.
I can not make any specific recommendations for Quranic verses but read Ayat-ul Kursi (Verse 2:255) as there is great reward in it.
Please remember, there is no shame in visiting a Doctor about this.
Indeed it takes great bravery to be so honest about one's health.
Be patient Bruv.
I will make dua for you insha'allah to make this path easy for you.
Walaikum salaam

Brother, may Allah ta'ala shower His Mercy upon you.
Rasulullah :saw: says that if you look for the positve things in life you will find them.
Something to ponder over.
I hope the following thread contains some benefit:

Dear Brother,
I wish I could share your pain but alas I am incapable of it.
What I can advice you is to have husn az-zan with Allah SWT. Think of all the things Allah have bestowed upon you.
If you can see, there are those amongst us who can't see.
If you can hear, there are those amongst us who are deaf.
If you can talk, there are those amongst us who are mute.
In short you have a lot to be thankful of.
The Holy Prophet s.a.w once said that a Muslim when overcome by tribulation and he is patient, Allah bestow upon him thawab. When he is thankful for all the things Allah have bestowed upon him, he receive thawab. So in both cases, he gets thawab.
I hope you can ponder upon this piece of advice.
Please take heed what Allah have said in the Holy Quran that remembring Allah makes the heart at peace.
Sorry for my bad English.

Bismillah
Aslaamu ALaikum wa rehmatUllah
firstly, Dhikr (remembrance) of Allah is the grestest thing in life. Ibn Taymiyya r.a. has stated "Remembrance of Allah is to the heart, what water is to fish. What happens to a fish without water?" Also, remembrance of Allah brings tranquility to the heart.
therefore, remember Allah much, especially in times of need.
secondly, the brothers have provided excellent naseeha and links, mashallah.. but i would just like to add that sumthing that will help u face ur problems is the fact that Everything happens by the Will of Allah. IT is a great virtue to accept what He has ordained for us. Not even a leaf moves but by His Will. There is No Power Nor Might except with Allah. Continue to make sincere DUA to Allah to ease ur tests in life. We all go thru tests every day, but how we handle them is what matters.
some duas i would like to recommend are:
DUA FOR EASE: http://www.makedua.com/print_dua.php?duaid=131
DUA for DISTRESS: http://www.makedua.com/print_dua.php?duaid=119
now abt ur career and all... ppl might discourage u, they may say things that will totally shatter ur goals and achievements...by be-littling ur efforts BUT always remember that Allah has willed for you to be where u r now (as in professional career)... aim for excellence in whatever u do and can do.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, sal
Allahu alayhi wa salla, said: "Seek out that which benefits you,
seek help only from Allah and never say you can't do it.
"If any adversity comes to you, do not say: 'If I had
only acted in such-and-such a way, it would have been
such-and-such;' but instead, say: 'Allah has decreed (it)
and what He willed, He has done,' for verily, (the word) (if)
opens the way for the work of Satan." - Saheeh Muslim
[Lessons from this hadith] If there is something that will
benefit you, make every effort and go after it! Seek it out.
There is no failure, only lessons.
there is no failure...only lessons.
once when i was feeling a little down, THIS (http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12095) helped me.

Excellent advice by our sister. :D
Actually every condition that we're in is a test from Allah SWT to see whether we're grateful or otherwise.
Unfortunately lots of people when they are poor, sick, depressed, then they think Allah is testing me.
Actually being rich, healthy and happy is also a form of test from Allah.
When you're down, you turn to Allah.
When you're OK, you turn away from Allah?
O Allah, guide us to be on the straight path always...

really helps..
as the sister said, He knows us more than we know ourselves. Sometimes, things we do or that happen is for us to 'learn' and to 'grow'. Do we really want to hurt our child when we take them to get an injection? It may seem 'bad', but in reality its for the childs good. Same with life.
As the pious used to relate stories, like, when you go to the hospital, the doctor gives you medicine, sometimes sweet halwa, sweet medicine, and at times they give you bitter medicine, but both are good...
so they say, we are the patients, and Allah is the doctor, whatever he gives we are happy, alhamdulilah.
Plus, this story is long, but my favourite and helps me alot too: http://qisas.com/stories/97
plus many other stories on this website...
