how to make cool flyers for Islamic events..

What software would brothers/sisters recommend in making flyers for Islamic events - and are there any good tutorials for that software on the net?

I've made flyers for talks at my local mosque using Microsoft Word, which isn't really ideal for the job.

I personally use PhotoShop, Its really good Alhumdullilah,
For tutorials, i just googled photoshop tutorials and came up with a bunch of sites. This being one of them, never used it personally though, Inshallah it might be of help to you.

i use fireworks.

Photoshop gets me done what i need, therefore i never used firefox, so i cant compare the two.
