Assalamualikum,
I live in a society whereby substance abuse is very prevalant amongst members. Many of those committing crimes and wrecking social havoc have been 'convicted' of this social disease. How is it dealt with according to the Islamic Law?
It is also a problem especially with reverts who find themselves still addicted. I know because one of my closest friend's who reverted to Islam, her brother has this problem and says things under influence that he would not normally say. (he is a revert as well) What are the cures, remedies and procedures for such. Also, how do you give dawah to someone who has this problem?
w.salam
