As Ramadan is just a day away, I thought it would be a good idea to explain to some christian friends about the significance of this blessed month insha'Allah so they dont just see it as a time for leaving food.

Get them to fast with you. It's just like Lent. But moreso. And Jesus (pbuh) did it :)

yeah like at my unversity we have a fast a thon, and we get a number of non muslims to fast with us a particular day, and business sposnors pay a certain amount of money per non muslim faster and the money is donated to a charity
