Anyone ever heard of Maulana Mohammad Ali Mongeri(rahmatul lahee alaih)
In india there were 4 differnt types of schools DArul uloom deoband which was only religious knowledge. While Jamia milia which was purely wordly knowledge. And then there was AMU(alighar muslim university) which was mostly wordly knowledge with a little religious. Then came Maulana mongeri and seeing that there was a need to have a religious place that teaches some of the worldy knowledge established Darlu uloom Nadwatul ulama. Later on he moved to north india to battle the Qadiyyanies. He established a khanqah(khanqah rahmani) there and another madrasah. He was a shiekh of the Qadri and Naqshabandi silsilah.
