Assalamualaikum,

I found an arabic copy of the Hikam online at: http://www.abunashaykh.com/Maktaba/kutub%20wa%20maqalat/Hikam/Hikam_Arabic.htm and also an english translation with Ibn 'Ajiba's commentary (chapters 1-8) online at: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/ABewley/hikamcont.html

I was advised by Shaykh Hamza Karamali that: "The Arabic text seems like a good source to print out and keep for your personal use.

The English translation is a useful resource, but it may contain some inaccuracies. Translating the hikam into English is not an easy task, as most of you hopefully realize by now. Ibn `Ajiba's commentary is also a very difficult commentary to translate because the author speaks at an extremely high level."

salam alaikoum brother and thank you for sharing ; with my murshid we read once a week by our weekly khalaqa a hikma from sidi Ibn Ata'allah and the commentary of Ahmad ibn Ajiba ; I just did buy the commentary from sheikh Ahmed Zarruk witch is also a good one ...
