As sallamu alaikum
When does one perform Salat-ul-Ishraq (post sun-rise prayer)?
And how does one perform it?

Fifteen to twenty minutes after sunrise.
Make intention for ishraq.
Pray 2 or 4 rakaats (the four rakaats in sets of 2 sets.. e.g 2x2) as you would normally pray.
That's about it I think?

One would need to perform it a little after sunrise, and before Zawaal, i.e. when the sun it at its zenith.
I also once heard it is good to recite surah al-Kafiroon and surah al-Ikhlaas, but this is not necessary and any surahs can be recited.
From Hadith, its rewards are great. Performing 2 rakaats gains the reward of completing one Hajj and one Umraah, and performing a further 2 rakaats makes the rest of the day ahsaan (easy).
Wallahu Alam.
