Hi All,
Here I'am in great confusion, as some of my friends say that "visiting dargaah is allowed" in Islaam, where as some say "Visiting Dargaah is not allowed" in islaam. Can someone clarify my doubts with valid references (from Quran/Hadith).
Thanks in advance

The visiting of their Darghas, etc. to make du'aa for the buried is permissible. However, to ask the buried for help or to intercede for you is not acceptable in the Shari'ah.

firstly let me say that the one who dies in the path of allah is not dead.
How do get closer to loving allah.
1.love the awlia
2.love the our nabee SAW
then you love must grow even more for Allah
People barried in the Dargaah are awlia friends of allah.
so if you go to bagdad to visit Sheik adbul kadar gilani,s you are going into a dargaah
if i said anything to upset any1 please make me maaf
i am a strong beliver in sufism

Asslamo Allaikum,
To the best of our knowldge; Yes.
Visiting the graves of Auliya-Allah is permissable, having the Aqeedah that the souls of Auliya are ever-present & all-knowing is not.
The above has nothing to do with Sufi'ism it is the stance of Scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamah.
