There is a related page that publishes nearly pornographic material and vilifies Muslims who adhere to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet, salallahu alaihi wassalam.

Yes, as well as sex outside wedlock and many other haram acts. They are most aggressive in attempting to portray anyone who disagrees with them as ignorant and "prudish."

I first found out about this group when a series on "Progressive Islam" began being presented on my campus. Upon investigating, I found that the series did nothing but attack the fundamentals of Islam and portray devout Muslims as backwards and ignorant.

umm excuse me this is a quote from their very own article

We don't feel we need to judge who's a good or bad Muslim by virtue of how much they pray or whether they eat pork or whether they are homosexual. We're looking for an expression of Islam that says it's okay to be who you are.

umm lets say this..whoever wrote this needs to be a muslim and I mean true muslim at that. I hope his/her fingers rot in hell for writing that. I will judge who I will call a muslim especially if their gay and dare to associate with islam. Gays are not muslims and alcoholics, and pork eaters are not muslims either. That's what Allah says..you're muslim by action not name only. Therefore these actions have no connection with islam therefore those who commit these things without repenting are not muslims. the end of discussion. PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! talk to Allah, he's the one who made the rules not us.

Careful on that one. Some people are misguided and do not know these things. When they get to know they repent. So careful on who we categorise as muslim or not. We do not choose who is muslim or not.
