why dont u guys drive over here :)...most of students here will inshaAllah be on winter break around 18th dec.

in any case, you guys can probably listen to his bayan through conference call :) I think its pretty cheap to make a long distance call to a number in america, especially if u use a calling card.

Last week, Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed delivered bayans in 2 new york area masjids (yeah, new york is special, lol) and the organizers had this free conference call thing setup where ppl can dial in and hear the entire talk. yeah, the whole day was amazing alhumdullilah...mashaAllah all speakers were knowledgeable and imparted some good naseeha...jazakAllahKhairun for all the organizers and the masjid management. May Allah taala reward them with whatever is best for them in this life and in the Hereafter.

I personally learnt a whole lot about tasawuf and the need of tasawuf in these days. I also felt reassured that it really isnt a new thing nor an 'innovation' in the deen as Shaykh Dr. Nadeem Qureshi and the rest of the speakers assured the gathering early on.

Tasawuf is indeed traditional islaam, a path which leads the Murid (seeker) to be as close as possible to the life of the early salaf...
