Last december (2006), I had the good fortune of visiting Darul 'Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo, New York. The highlight of the trip was the visit to the massive bookstore at the Darul 'Uloom, which I along with three friends (Salman [from SF], Amir (http://www.mujahideenryder.net/), and Yaser (http://yaserr.wordpress.com/)), was unable to cover in its entirety due to it's sheer size and the fact that the bookstore closes pretty early. The size of the bookstore is humungous such that it looked more like a library than a bookstore. It's probably got the largest collection of Urdu books (especially of Hanafi scholars from the Indian subcontinent) in North America. They have English and Arabic books sections as well -- both of which are probably the size of regular bookstores if not bigger.
