Yes Eid is for you, if –

You have made some efforts for life hereafter
You have feared your Creator and have become repented purely for your sins
You look forward to your life for satisfying your Lord and not your willingness
You have chosen a path of hardship and sacrifice foregoing this lucrative worldly life
You have put your eyes on the Almighty, who is the one and only to bestow peace on heart
You have made your intentions clear to walk along the road named – Siratal Mustaqim; for being steadfast on this path the secular people often looks down upon you
You have chosen the Messenger your guide, who is none, but Hazrat Muhammadur Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhiwasallam
You have accepted the pains of this world in the price of Jannah, moreover the Satisfaction of the Lord of this universe

Alhamdulliah Eid was good. Except in the case of Birmingham, UK where all mosque leaders signed an agreement to have Eid on Saturday, as soon as the Saudis announced for Friday the Deobandis went against the agreement and did Eid on Friday thus breaking a covenant. They were a minority and once again they managed to divide the Muslim community. The problem is not with the Saudis the problem is the people in UK who like sheep wish to follow the Saudis. I blame the Deobandis who do not take their fiqh from Saudi but are the blind, dumb and deaf followers of the Saudis when it comes to Eid and Ramadhan.
It is time they woke up and realised that they lived in UK.
