:salam:
I'm currently studying Arabic. I took two years of Arabic in college and am unable to continue in the classroom due to the need to take other classes at that time slot. Currently, I am studying from history textbooks from Palestine (now at grade 7 - Middle Ages/Western and Eastern Invasions).
I'm looking for pretty much anyone who would either like to begin learning Arabic (say a convert, like myself), who is at the same level as me, or even someone above me such as a native speaker. I'm hoping to do this through AIM or some IM system. A beginner would help me remember the earlier stuff which I may have forgotten such as case endings and an advanced speaker would know, well, pretty much all that I don't, so I would be happy to take on anyone.
This is mainly for MSA/Qur'anic Arabic for myself. Studying by myself, going through middle school textbooks is very slow and becomes boring quickly and would like someone to work with to make the language come more alive.
If you'd like to help me out, or help yourself, just respond and we can set something up. I'm East Coast, US, in case that matters for a time to get together.
