:salam:

'Tis a shame... due to these debates going overboard, and it being a subject best left to be discussed by the Ulema, sunniforum has now officially banned debates related to anything in the realm of Deobandis vs. Barelwis. Thus we've decided to make this thread (http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=27222#post27222) which includes previous threads of D/B bickering merged into one :insh:.

This also means that your posts made on this subject will be seen deleted once spotted by a mod, threads turning to this topic being locked/merged with this one, and you receiving the title "Banned" underneath your user name. Please spread the word. :jazak:.

This thread is best viewed using the hybrid mode due to the merged threads (Above the first post on the far right is the button 'Display Modes' --> select 'Hybrid Mode'.)

:jazak: for adhering to the rules of sunniforum, once again.

So I think I should pack my bags eh? lol

To tell the truth, this issue will keep growing, we just have to choose our sides. Just like the Muslim-Shia Issue. One jamaat Calls some scholars , the other jama'at's followers call them Kafit,Gustakh, pets of kuffar, blah blah, there's no wa ythey can unite; and even if they do, this unity will never last.
There are differences of Aqeedah (Noor, Bashar, hazir/nazir etc...). How do we overcome these Issues?

Or tell me the way you see it is different. JazakAllah

How do we overcome these Issues?

How about referring back to the classical scholars of old or perhaps those who have nothing to do with the Indo-Pak - usually works for me.

Wasalam.

to tell the truth, both Deobandis and Barelvis think their beleifs , practices, and links go back to the Traditional Islam.

[...and that should be enough to form "unity" at least here on sunniforum, :insh:...]

edit: Please no more of this :)

Doesn't this warrant a ban under the new rules.

In light of the recent deobandi/barelwi refutations being posted and threads being created, please be mindful of the following. This should be a reminder to all, :insh:.
