those who reject the hadith completely

what do the scholars say about the "quraniyoon" or "quranites" who say that we can only follow the qur'an and not the hadith, and that those who follow the hadith are misguided heretics? Are such people within the fold of Islam?

Their is an Ijma on their apostacy as cited by Ibn hazm in his al Ihkam fi Usul al Ahkam:

-- And if someone were to say: "We do not take except what we find in the Quran," that person would be an apostate by consensus of the Community.
