Let me introduce myself.
My name is Sarit, and I'm from Israel.
I know it will come as a surprise for you and I ask you to excuse me and apologize if me approaching you is in any way inappropriate. I found your site in the net (by searching poetry forums in Sudan).
I hope you will be able to help me with something I've been searching for. I've searched desperately all over the internet but I could not find any of the details I was looking for.
I am a poet and the editor of an online poetry magazine. Recently an anthology of Arab women poetry was published in Israel, translated to Hebrew, of course. I was both amazed and excited by the poems. One of the poets is Niama Muhammad Adam who is Sudanian. I couldn't find any other poems by her, or any details about her. I was hoping maybe you'd have some information about her, or perhaps another poem by her, even if they are in Arabic. If you could be so kind as to help me with this search, I would greatly appreciate it. Myebe you can ppost the question to other blogger, whom many of them iraed in my intensive seach.
i will appreciate your efforts. I feel it is greatly important to bring the Arab poetry to the forefront of Israeli culture and poetry world. Poetry is such a powerful tool for deliberation and I think it could serve the purpose of peace between people.
Thank you ever so much in advance,
Sarit Shatz, Israel
