Asslamo Allaikum,
I have a feeling that there are Ulama browsing and posting comments on SF; who are not identifying themselves out of humility (Masha'Allah).
I am 99%+ convinced that a brother posting comments is a young Maulana who graduated from Darul-uloom Bury (a few years ago).
It is rather humbling to see this behavior (Masha'Allah) when BIG-MOUTHS like me are always chatting!
May Allah (SWT) give us the ability to develop and give us the Tawfeeq to practise humility (Ameen).

Assalaam alaikum,
Are they like a group of scolars? What do you mean about not identifying themselves out of humility? Who are they and what do they stand for? I'm a relatively new revert so I am just wandering.

Wa alaykum assalaam sister,
The brother believes, there are some ulama on SF who do not disclose themselves as ulama, because they are humble and meek in their efforts...
Ulama are those who have reached a particular degree of religious knowledge.

I’m surprised it took him so long to figure it out. I thought the pic on my Avatar would have given it away. :D

How about having a section listing the Ulema on this forum and a bit about them too. I don't mean details that may identify who they are (that's up to them). Just where they studied, who their Shaykhs are/were, etc. I think it'll be useful for newer members. What do you guys think?

Mashallah,
Good to see Ulema overlooking what I post and correcting me where im wrong.
Its good to see such commitment on an Islamic site.
Other so called islamic sites are rubbish and shouldnt even be called islamic sites...Ummah is not serving anyone.

Assalam alaikum,
I think ulema on board should be identifiable so that we have adab when addressing them.

I think I even suggested something like that before, but never got a real answer.

The humility of many of our Ulema probably prevents them from doing so.
