To increase our knowledge about verbs used in arabic let us contribute one verb a day each begining with the letter which ends the previous verb (Past tense single masculine.Mention the category of the verb too (Sahih , muatal etc)
First verb:
Shakara( To be thankful) Sahih salim

radda (to return sth. or reject s.th by giving it back) رَدَّ (sahih muda'af)

Maybe if we add the Mudaari' and Masdar, it should make it very beneficial to learn? Students always have problems knowing the Mudaari' and Masdar of verbs.

So, radda - yaruddu - raddan

رَدَّ - يَرُدُّ - رَداًّ

I thought we were supposed to start with the letter that the previous verb ended in?

Anyhow,

laama - yaluumu - lawman (to blame) mu'tall ajwaf waawi

لاَمَ - يَلُوْمُ - لَوْماً

Btw "lawman" is the masdar, and has nothing to do with a man observing the law.

Aada- yauoodu- oodun- aaidun- mawoodun.

Shoudn't it be مَعُوْد as موعود is the ism faa'il of وعد and not عاد ?

:salam: is there any thread that do short sentences? Some people learn quickly by learning sentences than just words/verbs. like common sentences: "Can you help me please?" "Muhammad :saw: is the last messenger" "That brother has beautiful akhlaq" etc.

this thread by the way is fabulous.
