Ahbab Al Mustafah

These nasheed files i have on tape, and i was thinking of using the methods that are available to put them onto .mp3 so others can listen to it. Its from "yemen", these are yemeni nasheed, but to my surprise, a close dear friend that i have, recently gave it to me via msn, in mp3 format. I was thinking of converting, so i may give it to him, but at the end, he gave it to me...Subhanallah.

Enjoy.

This is very beautiful, especially the first one - antum muradi.
I would really love it if someone could translate the main bit:

antum muradi wa antum ahsanul bashari

uhilukum fil mahalis sami' wa bashari

was-salaam

as Salaamu alaykum

translation:
You are my desire and you are the best of Mankind
I hold your image in my hearing and in my sight

You have conquered my heart and made it the place of your dwelling
And being far from you, o my master, has caused me great distress

Do not think my heart will turn away from your love
Your love has rendered this poor man in fear of losing you

Your absence took away my happiness
And quietness led me to extreme sorrow

You left me gazing up at a star, in pain of separation
And now I shed tears like the pouring rain

You are my desire, o best of Mankind
I hold your image in my hearing and sight

Some other tapes of this group from Tareem are available at Guidance Media (www.guidancemedia.com/pnasheed.html). They really are very nice maa sha Allah, especially Waqt as-Sahar (The time of dawn). Khalli 'anka-l hamm (Leave your grief) and the Mawlid tape are beautiful as well.
They are currently working on a new rendition of the Qasidatul Burdah Sharif, although they previously released a nice one several years ago.

Antum Muraadi wa Antum AHsanu-l bashari
