As salaamu alaykum.
Does anyone know if "Jami Zaytuna", the famed institution in Tunisia, still exists as a madrassah? I know that the Masjid is still there and functioning, but does the Madrassah exist in any form? For example, Qarawayyin in Fez still exists as a mosque and the madrassah has been absorbed into the country's University system. Is such also the case with "Jami Zaytuna"?
