HMC Halal Monitoring Committee and HMA Halal Monitoring Authority equivalent in USA

Assalam-o-alaikum

I will be moving to USA in near future InshAllah. Alhamdullilah we have got HMC (http://www.halalmc.co.uk/)here in UK. I am a bit concerned about Monitored halal meat in USA. Done a bit of google and managed to find HMA operating in Canada. Is there any similar organization in America or new HMA supplies in USA? Their website http://hma.jucanada.org/home.aspx doesn't say anything about this so far.

Also reply with the list of traditional darul-ulooms. Any advice and websites which might be helpful to me in future please. Not sure if the thread at http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25434&highlight=list+madrasa is fully upto date.

I know of no such thing, in my state, we just have to trust the various zabiha dealerships. But I know brothers in some places (Chicago?) where it is different and the Muslims managed to lobby local governments to enforce zabiha meat only if a company uses the term like 'halaal' to market it's products.
