Assalam O Alaikum

Any one who is learning Tajweed can practice using the following verses as all the 28 Arabic letters are used in these verses.

(Qur’an 3:154)
(Qur’an 48:29)

Jazakallah

Nice.. however that would be for makhraj practice, since many letters have different pron. in different forms.

Salaam,

I am new to this site. And my purpose really to registering was to try and find a sister who can teach tajweed. I'm finding it very difficult to find a sister who teaches. I don't mind travelling so if anyone knows of a sis in London I would be grateful. Whatever the cost!

walaikum as salam wa rahmatallahi wa barakatuh,

you could also try learning over msn/skype. find a sis and she could correct you over the net. try loadislam, ummahforums or even ibnMuslim forums. I don't know how sunniForum works but its less "brotherly/sisterly" here.

Anyway, you being in London, there are various various resources available to you. Bunch of schools that can teach you professionally and bunch of sisters-only groups around (i'm in U.S so i donno the specifics but I know theres alot of resources there). You could also just go to your local masjid and join a class or something. that would probably be the best (and cheapest).
