Mashallah the talk Shaykh Riyad Ul Haq did was brilliant he spoke how it is very important that we stay with right company otherwise we will be doomed in this life and next. And he quoted from the Quran And Hadith were Allah and hes Rasul(salala alai wasalam) emphasise the company of the pious.I reccomend everyone to listen to the talk when it is available on tape. may Allah give us the taufiq to sit in the company of pious and also may Allah protect us from the company of the evil doers aameen.

MashaAllah, I'll try to find some "jugar" to get those tapes too inshaAllah.
If I get a chance to visit UK, the few things I'd ask Maulana Riyadhul Haqq sahib:
a) Please show me your recording system, and where can I buy one like that?
b) What do you use to be so "smooth" in talks
c) How to acheive that cool pitch, and
d) What are ya upto with all that knowledge , and single handedly taking panga with gear muqallideen?
Alhamdulillah, I am a fan(as like, Air Conditioner) of the Sheikh's talks, eversince I had a chance to listen to his "Signs of the days of fitnah".

While you're at it brother, find out who does his covers for Audio Cassettes...I'd ask him if it wasn't for the whole Purdah thing and the fact that I'm a little shy when it comes to talking to non mahrams...
Maybe I could ask his wife...
but all the same...if you ever do get a chance to find out...
do post the answers to the questions

a) Please show me your recording system, and where can I buy one like that?
It's a Hi-MD system do google search.
b) What do you use to be so "smooth" in talks
It's the extensive english grammar classes in darul-uloom bury, and of course the daal and roti.
c) How to acheive that cool pitch, and
Take a deep breath. move the mic near your mouth and breath out...
d) What are ya upto with all that knowledge , and single handedly taking panga with gear muqallideen?
It it wasn’t for his guidance in this issue and constant questions answered, this person here would be up there this day with the bin baaz and al-bani crew.
His salaah book if you haven’t read it The Salah of a Believer in the Qur'an & Sunnah (http://www.alkawtharacademy.org/store/view_product.php?product=AKAB08-001) is a masterpiece of the evidences in hanafi prayer direct refutation of al-banis siffa salah an nabi read a extract: Difference in salah between men and women (http://www.darulislam.info/sections-viewarticle-55.html)
Regarding the bro who does the tape covers i could tell you.. but i think it would be breaking a trust as maybe he wouldn’t like his name known to a unknown sister, email Al-Kawthar Academy links on my signature.

SubhanAllah that lecture is my right now on top of my fav list for lectures. I gave it to my teacher to listen, since so many students ask her about the topic, she's making them listen to the lecture and take notes...Insha'Allah their doubts and uncertainties will be cleared...and all of ours

Tops list of awesome lectures regarding Taqleed or any matter in particular. Of course my opinion may be biased as most (if not all) of Shaykh Aboo Yusuf's lectures are appreciated by me. Masha'allah truly inspiriational lecture that gave me quite a bit of answers to the questions raised by those who oppose taqleed. I recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn about the madhahib and why one should follow them.

yes, mashallah that "juristic differences" talk is very good.
i will stick my neck out here but i feel a few other of Shaykh Riyadhul Haq's talks are even better:
1. "Compassion Despite Disagreement"
2. "Etiquettes of Seeking Knowledge"
3. "Be Just In Your Judgement"
those talks give a clear strong message to any one who is hell-bent on creating fitna or of being an obstacle for muslim unity - the message is, do not do it, think, bcos those actions are anti-sunnah.

I like all of his lectures but the following are awesome!
1. Women of Taqwa
2. Our role in Fitnah
3. Islamic Education in the West
4. Anger a Satanic Trait
5. Sunnah in our Conduct and Manner
6. Fear the Prayer of the Oppressed
May Allah (SWT) give all those who listened the tawfiq and strength to live by all that they've learnt. Ameen.

there is one of Shaykh Riyadh's talks that i heard a bro say is personally 'liked' by Shaykh Riyadh himself bcos i believe quite a bit of effort and new research went into it.
i have listened to it and alhamdulillah it was very new info for me (and i have listened to the majority of Shaykh Riyadh's bayans).
it is "The Prophet (saw) and Heraclius" which is one of the lessons in the "Bukhari" series.
i got the 2-parter and its fresh stuff.
highly recommended.
another fave of mine is "Hardships in Reflection of the Sunnah"
this is a classic exposition of the sunnah and an absolute must for anyone who is depressed or lacks love for Rasoolullah (peace be upon him).
i agree with many ppl.....Shaykh Riyadh has loads and loads of special bayans.
mashallah.

Honestly I was just introduced to his bayaans a year ago...and they've really inspired me as well...

Masha'allah, heres a list my top list and ones always recommended by his students:
Jewish Fundamentalism & The Muslims
Fear the Prayer of the Oppressed
Masjid Al-Aqsa in Danger
Masjid Al Aqsa & The Children of Israel
The Children of Israel in Madina
The Days of Fitnah and Hope for the Believers
Our Role in Fitnah
4 Traits of Fitnah
Equality, Honesty and Justice in Islam
Hope and Despair
Steadfastness in the Face of Adversity
The Shariah: A Blessing or a Burden?
After you hear the Al-Aqsa talks, you find out the Masjid and the land has a haqq over you, our brothers and sisters there have a haqq over you, their kids have a haqq over you just like the globalised situation too, our leaders the ones with 'scholar' titles surly will have to look at the noblest of all faces (saw) one day and ask what they did in their responsibilty for these rights. Their not just fancy labels or good talks, their wake up calls.
i will stick my neck out here but i feel a few other of Shaykh Riyadhul Haq's talks are even better:
1. "Compassion Despite Disagreement"
This ones is a about Taqleed and 'salafis', you know just the title Compassion Despite Disagreement some of us need to eat those words.
buy the talks from the Academy (http://www.alkawtharacademy.org/index.php) insha'allah, working with the students to help rasie money for this darul uloom http://www.azharacademy.org/start.html and the one in Birmingham for the Students Academy.

Shariah A blessing or A Burden...
I have that...
Insha'allah will listen to it...its still unopened...
It may seem odd that I've taken a liking to the Shaykh's Bayaans...but its not that I like the Shaykh's tone or voice...which I must say does complement the topics quite well. Its the fact that, Masha'allah, he really knows how to deliver a topic and to keep you hooked on. And the best part about it is that many speakers tend to get sidetracked or so emotional at times that the speech becomes slightly...err...what's going on sort of, pst...what's the brother saying... And then the whole topic of the debate is remembered towards the end of the whole discussion...and the speaker quickly brings in the topic. Which interests the crowd of course but kind of confuses and makes some of the audience scratch their heads (happened at the RIS conference at least a few times).
Shaykh Aboo Yusuf's talks are exemplary and if you wanna learn stuff you ought to listen to his bayaans...because he can really make you get things...which you wouldn't be able to comprehend normally.

Masjid Al Aqsa & The Children of Israel
Hope and Despair
The Shariah: A Blessing or a Burden?[/B]
yes yes yes!
i forgot about those too.
my fave 'aqsa' tape out of all Shaykh Riyadh's bayans is the one u mentioned above "MAsjid Al-aqsa and the children of israel"
i think its the most comprehensive one out of all his bayans on that topic...or maybe it just stood out and hit me the most.
"hope and despair" is excellent to get balance in one's life
"shariah - blessing or burden?" is brilliantly convincing and makes u want to practice shariah/islam right away....i know a non-practicing sister who after listening to it was so impressed.

i couldnt have put it better
