It's interesting to mention that Shias do not perform Taraweeh prayers. Any Shia folks on SF want to mention anything about this?

Don't you find it interesting? I do because I never heard of that before.

Isn't it true that Ali (RA) lead the Taraweeh prayers in his time? He was a Hafizul Quran and so were his sons (RA).

Yes it's not interesting because for them we are innovators, we follow sunnah of 'Umar (raa) and not Sunnah of Rasul (saws).

They claim that the matter was innovated by Umar ibn al-Khattab [ra], although this is an easily refutable idea.

thats what most shia do. taqiyya is part of their religion. its what they say about sahaba amongst themselves, that is the problem.

today if someone abuses or insults our parents, then we are quick to insult them back and even fight them. but the abuse the shia commit against the sahaba is taken very lightly.

can you tell me why you do that? if you are shia, wouldnt it be more sensible to follow the sahaba ali's sunnah?
