There will descend upon them tranquility, mercy and the angles will surround them and Allah (SWT) will mention them in the pressence of those near to him..." (Sahih Muslim).

SubhanAllah, why can't we, here in Canada have lectures/talks and lecturers/speakers like that? we so need them....I just can't wait for the Youth Tarbiyya conference...Insha'Allah Maulana Ahmed Ali and Shaikh Riyadh al Haq will come oh and Maulana Sulayman Mullah....

also whoever goes to this talk, please share some knowledge that you have gained, Jazakallah khair

well...we could have talks...and I think we do...its just that ... i guess we're the ones who need to take initiative...a brother suggested that we ought to contact local masajid and ask them to sponsor such speakers...

another thing is the whole advertising bit...i was just going through some old programs...and I found some bits on this conference sponsored by united muslims featuring speakers like Mufti Taqi Uthmani...and honestly...I had no idea about it :|

maybe advertising would be a good thing...

but me agrees sis...can't wait for Youth Tarbiyah Conference...Insha'allah it'll be an inspirational event...and ppl who attend this talk...do tell us when the talk is put on tape...we'd be willing to buy on the double...insha'allah
