:salam:

Can someone recommend a good english book for the Seerah of Prophet Mohammed :saw: ?

I have heard of "Sealed Nectar", but is that not by a Salafi Shakyh? Is it still advisable to read this? Any reasons why one should not?

the sealed nectar is AFAIK a very good seerah book and may Allah have mercy on its author.
For other books you can do a little search on this forum.

Salaam,

Ive heard the seerah book by Martin Lings is also a good read. I haven't read it myself though. So I can't really comment much on it. But its highly recommended by loads of people i know.

I researched this same issue last week, The Sealed Nectar is mostly about Wars, that was the opinion from someone of this forum who i think teached from it, I flicked through it and i did see a fair few pages on Wars so i left it.

Ash-Shifa is good brother by Qadi Iyadh
I have also managed to find Muhammed Rasulullah by Moulana Ali Mia Nadvi in English. Iv heard the former is a great book, the latter is supposed to be a great book too but im not too good with Urdu so it was a pleasant surprise to see it in English.

Ash- Shifa is about 20 pounds
Muhammed Rasulullah is about 2 pounds

Amongst all the books written on the Seerah the one which was awarded the First prize was
