Salaam-wa-Rahmatullah,

I was wondering if anyone here can help me out inshallah.

1) Can a daytime dream be authentic? I had a very vivid dream between zuhr and asr time today.

2) When it is said that you shouldn't tell anyone about a bad dream that you've had, is this an absolute prohibition? I mean can you not relate it to someone who is experienced in dream interpretation?

I've just had a dream (during a daytime nap) that has totally freaked me out and yes I've spat three times to my left side and sought refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytan. All the same I'd really like to get someone to interpret it for me. I've referred to those Islamic dream dictionaries and the symbolism of my dream according to them is really, really bad. So now, I'm self interpreting this dream (based on those dictionaries plus other things I’ve heard about dreams in general) and it's driving me to utter distraction.

Anyhow, I'm really, hoping and praying inshallah that a daytime dream is meaningless .

Apologies for sounding hysterical (that's because I am rather at the moment).

Wasalaam and your duas please

I dont know about that but you should believe in Allah He will fix every thing and make better for you so say Salah and pray Insha Allah every thing will be okay.
