Hello,
I am currently attempting to learn Standard Arabic. I am somewhat uncertain about the use of the "sisters of kaana" and some other verbs, in particular, I would like to know whether the following three sentences are acceptable to a native speaker or whether they are grammatically wrong. The meaning is perhaps a bit strange, but grammar is the only thing interesting for me here:
كان الرجل يُرغَب فيه (intended meaning: "the man was loved")
اصبح الرجل مرغوب فيه (intended meaning: "the man began to be loved")
حاول الرجل رغب فيه (intended meaning: "the man tried to be loved")
