The du'a of those returning from hajj?

its a common saying among people that Allah listens to hajis dua upto 40 days after Hajj. Someone please inform me, from where this rewayat has come, is there any mention of it in the Holy Quran?

In fact it is the one who claim this that has to bring the proof for what he's saying.
There are lots of common sayings but when asked to give proofs no one's there.
