As sallamu alaikum

Does anyone know where I can listen to Sufis chanting? I like something deep and mournful.

Jazak Allah Khair

:salam:

www.deenport.com has some nice dhikrs in there qasida/dhikr section.

I particularly like this one:

Drunk on the Wine of Divine Unity - La ilaha illa Allah

"We drank in the Remembrance of the Beloved an inebriating wine, our intoxication was from before the creation of grapes."
-Lines from Ibn al-Farid (Allah be pleased with him)

and see Imam Nawawi's wird here:

Jazak Allah Khair for ur replies. If you visit the following link:

http://www.zaytuna.org/multimedia.asp

and listen to the monks, mystics and mood music thing and skip to about 12:40 you can hear some echo like, slow and mournful chanting (it last for about 15-20 seconds) I'm after that particular one and other like that.

Wa alaikum as sallam
