Salaam everyone. Most of us have heard about the hadith in sahih bukhari and sahih muslims, in which it is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that a wife who refuses her husband's request for sexual intimicy will be cursed by the angels till morning. Now yesterday i came across this narration, see:

“Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) will curse those procrastinating women who, when their husbands call them to their beds, say ‘I will, I will . . .’ until he falls asleep.”

source:

narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat and al-Kabir. See Majma’ al-Zawa’id, 4/296

I would like to ask if this narration is also narrated by Abu Huraira ? Cause i want to find out if this hadeeth is a just different version of the hadith mentioned in bukhari and muslims related to this topic, or a complete different / new hadith.

ma salama

No, this narration is by Ibn 'Umar. However al-Haythami in Majma' said that one of the narrators in the chain is weak. Nevertheless, he also mentions another similar narration from Ibn Umar (related by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat) about which he says 'rijaluhu thiqaat'. The text of the latter is:

ما من امرأة يطلب زوجها منها حاجة فتأبى فيبيت وهو عليها غضبان إلا باتت تلعنها الملائكة حتى يصبح
