THE MU’MIN’S PREFERENCE
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"He who loves his world, harms his
Aakhirah, and he who loves his
Aakhirah, harms his world. Therefore
give preference to the everlasting life
over the perishable life (of this world)."
Even if we perceive worldly loss in following the teachings of the Deen, we should understand that it is the test for our Imaan. The Mu’min has no option other than to accept the loss and give preference to the Aakhirah.
