The long Hadith about Salah, (If one performs 5 daily Salah he will be rewarded 5 things and save from 5... or something like that).
But the text of this long narration is supported by many other small Sahih narrations.
Another fact that should be noted is that Imaam Zahabi al Hanbali, a great Muhadith and student of Ibn Taymiyyah, who is loved by all, salafees and non salafees alike, has given this Hadith a place in his book "Al Kabaair". So if you want to trow Fazail e Aamaal in the dump send Zahabi's books as well.
Have found somewhere this regarding the same hadith:
Imam al-Zahabi in his book Mizan al-E'tidal, while writing down the biography of Muhammad Ibn 'Ali Ibn al-'Abbas al-Baghdadi al-Attar , said: 'He ( Muhammad Ibn 'Ali ) fabricated on the authority of Ali Ibn Bakr Ibn Ziyad al-Naisaboori an ascription of false Hadith concerning one who neglects performing prayers'.
So is the hadith indeed in the book al-kabaair? if so then why he mentioned it where in another place he mentioned it as false hadith?
May be someone can look in Al-kabaair and clearify the question.
Jazakallau khair.
