Rehman Malik, the chief interior ministry adviser, has claimed "a foreign hand" lay behind the attack on the cricketers – which has been widely interpreted as pointing the finger at neighbouring India.

Some Pakistani newspapers have suggested that the Indian intelligence service was involved,

100%

1) Pakistan Intelligence had prior warning of the attack but Pakistani Government removed the Police IG Chief of Punjab 4 days before the attack!

2) SriLankas have crushed Indian backed Tamil Tigers with Military and Strategic help from Pakistan Army

Here is the declassified security warning:

Bro Abdul Quddus, you specifically typed in: "Pakistan denies India behind Lahore attack", your mind is set then?

Well for me its early days to rule anything out, but those articles that came up on your search show Al-Qaida are behind the attacks, to me; thats ridiculous.

If the people of Pakistan need to be blamed then the first on the list should be the corrupt politicians.

So you agree with whats stated on your search Br Abdul Quddus?

A friend of mine who is a semi pro cricket player [plays for a derbyshire team [UK] - and is Pakistani] told me yesterday when he went to play in Sri Lanka against the national team [Friendly] they had 9 Police vans/cars and a total of 30 officers and guards.

Just trying to put 2 and 2 together. hmmm.

Then that explains it.

on what basis u accept the news?

On the truth, weighing out possible culprits, looking into the situation properly; full head on investigation making it national and international; and prior to end of the investigation NO-ONE should be blamed, and if someone is blamed then there should be a good shred of evidence!

So far i find it absurd that al-Qaida are blamed when there is not a shred of evidence, infact the evidence and report suggests something absolute: al-Qaida were NOT part of it, this assumption, yes assumption of mine is; based on the fact that there was only 6 police officers, come on; a country that has so much internal / external conflict they only give 6 officers with no bullet proof windows [on the cricket players side windows] and on the other hand you have amatuers going [okay semi pro - referring to my friend] and they get full international security, having over 30 officers / guards. So is this the work of al-Qaida or corrupt politicions? [ Pakistani or Non Pakistani politicions ]

I maybe wrong and al-Qaida may have something to do with it, but currently there is not a single eivdence to say they were part of it. Hence to blame someone without a link is stupid.
