I am hoping I could learn more about the religion through this website.

I am also a convert and we have a New Muslims organization here, its fairly big now Alhumdulillah. We have monthly conferences, and classes, even a house for brothers to live in if they get kicked out or are on their own.

It is important that we learn the religion properly, and take support. We have a conference on Sunday if you would like to come and share your story, or just watch. PM me and lets chat. We are based in the Islamic Foundation of Toronto masjid on Markham Road.

I pray that everyone is in the best of health.

I thank everyone for their kind words of support, I really do appreciate it.

To the Brother who invited me to the Mosque, I thank you unfortunately I have to decline the invitation....On Sunday I will inshallah announce to my family about my reversion to Islam so I pray to Allah Almighty to make this task easy for me and I beg him to make my family see the beauty and the majesty of Islam, I ask Allah to guide them towards the straight path. Amen!

On another note a brother in Pickering gave me a few books to read, I was wondering if any of you could rate these books and tell me if they confirm with Sunni Islam.

The first book I feel in love with "The Heirs of the Prophets" Author Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali, Translated by Zaid Shakir.

The Second book is called "Difference of opinion in Fiqh" Author Shah Wali Allah Al-Dihlawi, Translated by Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahhab.

If Allah touches you with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touches you with happiness, He hath power over all things. He is the Omnipotent over His servants; and He is the Wise, Acquainted with all things. (Al-An`am: 17-18)

May Allah Guide us to what pleases him.
