The ‘Allama, the Shaykh al-Hadith, the Muhaqqiq Imam of Ahl al-Sunna, the defender of the Ahl al-Haqq, the Pride of Deoband Hadrat Shaykh Mawlana Sarfraz Khan Safdar has passed away early this morning (Tuesday, May 05, 2009). May Allah Most High have mercy upon his soul, grant him the highest stations in paradise and raise his rank. Amin.

Brother Hamood, :jazak: for this. I wrote that day in some other post, that I m unable to view Deoband.org. I couldn't view it for even a single time. I generally use Mozilla, but also checked with Opera and IE. But none of them works. No message, it just tries to load and then fails. Could u find out the problem or help me in any way?

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un!

This is indeed a tragedy, but Hadhrat Mawlana Sarfraz Khan Safdar will be always remembered for his tremendous service to the Ummah of Ahl as-Sunnah and the Deen! May Allah Ta’ala reward Hadhrat abundantly, shower his blessings over him throughout his journey from the grave till the entry to Jannah and make it a pleasant one for him! Ameen. Insha’Allah, through Allah’s will and all the works and students Imam Ahl al-Sunnah ‘Allamah Sarfraz Khan Safdar has left Hadhrat’s legacy of Haq will stay alive till the Last Day!

Inna Lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji’oon.

This is very sad news indeed!! The Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah has lost a staunch defender, a great Imam, and a great Wali of Allah (swt)!

May Allah (swt) shower blessings upon his soul and may He (swt) grant him the highest of stations in Paradise.
